Established in July 2014, Classical Charter Schools of Southport is a tuition-free, open enrollment K-8 public elementary school serving students in the southern part of Brunswick county. We are a replicate school mirroring the programs in place at Classical Charter Schools of Leland and of Whiteville. Both of these model schools are widely recognized as compelling traditional alternatives to conventional public education and are consistently the highest-scoring schools in their respective counties. We focus on providing a high quality education and a premier performance-driven year-round school. We are conveniently located along the 211 corridor between Southport and Supply and serve students from all surrounding areas including the Southport, Oak Island, Shallotte, Bolivia, Supply, Sunset Beach, Boiling Spring Lakes, and Holden Beach.

The 2025-2026 school year will be here before you know it! Don’t forget to sign up for New Incoming Student Placement Testing.
Please click one of the sign-up links below for a date and time that will fit your schedule best to come in with your child for their placement test. This will be for NEW students ONLY. The link is for all new Kindergarten-3rd Grade students. There are multiple spots available for each testing time listed.

Greatest. Game on earth!
Our 4th grade students had the opportunity to visit the Latimer House Museum and Gardens this week on a field trip. Built in 1852, it's a treasured part of Wilmington's historical legacy showcasing exhibits of original art, furniture, and clothing all the way back to the Victorian era.
