Established in July 2014, Classical Charter Schools of Southport is a tuition-free, open enrollment K-8 public elementary school serving students in the southern part of Brunswick county. We are a replicate school mirroring the programs in place at Classical Charter Schools of Leland and of Whiteville. Both of these model schools are widely recognized as compelling traditional alternatives to conventional public education and are consistently the highest-scoring schools in their respective counties. We focus on providing a high quality education and a premier performance-driven year-round school. We are conveniently located along the 211 corridor between Southport and Supply and serve students from all surrounding areas including the Southport, Oak Island, Shallotte, Bolivia, Supply, Sunset Beach, Boiling Spring Lakes, and Holden Beach.

📍Important Announcement📍
Due to incoming inclement weather, there will be no school for students tomorrow, Monday, March 16th. Teachers will report to campus for a scheduled teacher workday.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we take precautions during this weather event. Information regarding when this missed school day will be made up will be shared with families at a later time.

Meet Mrs. Summerlin, the Lead First Grade Teacher at CCS-Southport! She is a strong leader, both for her teaching team and for her students. She finds fun and exciting ways to teach her lessons, making sure her students develop a love for learning.
