Established in July 2014, Classical Charter Schools of Southport is a tuition-free, open enrollment K-8 public elementary school serving students in the southern part of Brunswick county. We are a replicate school mirroring the programs in place at Classical Charter Schools of Leland and of Whiteville. Both of these model schools are widely recognized as compelling traditional alternatives to conventional public education and are consistently the highest-scoring schools in their respective counties. We focus on providing a high quality education and a premier performance-driven year-round school. We are conveniently located along the 211 corridor between Southport and Supply and serve students from all surrounding areas including the Southport, Oak Island, Shallotte, Bolivia, Supply, Sunset Beach, Boiling Spring Lakes, and Holden Beach.

Out of an abundance of caution due to road conditions and campus safety concerns, our campus will transition to remote learning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. While conditions may continue to improve, this decision allows us to prioritize everyoneโ€™s well-being while ensuring continuity of learning.

Remote learning plans are in place, and additional details regarding assignments and expectations will be shared by your childโ€™s teacher.

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility. Please stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming students back to campus as soon as conditions allow.
