Established in July 2014, Classical Charter Schools of Southport is a tuition-free, open enrollment K-8 public elementary school serving students in the southern part of Brunswick county. We are a replicate school mirroring the programs in place at Classical Charter Schools of Leland and of Whiteville. Both of these model schools are widely recognized as compelling traditional alternatives to conventional public education and are consistently the highest-scoring schools in their respective counties. We focus on providing a high quality education and a premier performance-driven year-round school. We are conveniently located along the 211 corridor between Southport and Supply and serve students from all surrounding areas including the Southport, Oak Island, Shallotte, Bolivia, Supply, Sunset Beach, Boiling Spring Lakes, and Holden Beach.

Get ready… Field Day is almost here! 🎉☀️
We’re excited to celebrate the last day of school on May 29th with a high-energy, laughter-filled Field Day! It’s the perfect way to close out an amazing school year—full of games, teamwork, and just a little friendly competition. From relay races and obstacle courses to water balloon tosses and tug-of-war, our students will be moving, cheering, and celebrating all morning long!
The day will kick off with a special staff inflatable race (yes—you’ll want to see this 👀), followed by rotating activities for all grade levels. K–8 students will take turns enjoying outdoor field day fun and indoor games/snack time, before wrapping up with classroom celebrations and extra recess.
